Our staff has a passion for community, caring and Christ.

Pastor Curt Wiedenroth  |  Senior Pastor

Pastor Curt opened his life to Jesus Christ in 1978 while serving in the Air Force.  Two years later, he responded to the call of God on his life for the ministry.  He graduated from Boston Baptist College in 1985 and joined the college staff where he served as the Dean of Students for four years. During that time, he also served as the Youth Pastor at Heritage Park.  In August of 1989, Pastor Curt and his family moved to East Boston where, for 13 years, he pastored a fledgling church that was started by Heritage Park.  He became the senior pastor of HP in May of 2002.

Pastor Curt and his wife Lynn have three grown children and eight grandchildren. He also serves on the Boston Baptist College Board of Trustees.

It’s a tremendous privilege to pastor this wonderful church. As we work together to make the life changing words of Jesus known to others, we continue to grow in our love for God and one another. We enjoy a real family atmosphere here and it’s just thrilling to watch everybody worship, help one another, and serve together.
— Pastor Curt

Ben Black  |  Youth Pastor

Ben grew up in Louisiana and came up to Massachusetts in 2015 to serve his country in the Air Force.  He gave his life to Christ in 2010 and it was the best decision he has ever made.  Ben enjoys climbing, fishing, camping and loves teaching teens about Jesus.

I hope to always emulate Christ so that the teens see Him inside of me and that they want to have that in their own lives. I haven’t done anything more rewarding than being able to teach and do life with these young people.
— Ben

Shelley McGreal  |  Office Manager

Shelley received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age and has been serving Him ever since.  She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and Missions from Bethany International in Bloomington, MN. Part of her college experience included an internship in Brazil. She is currently working full-time at Stoneham High School as a Paraprofessional for Special Education and part time at Heritage Park. She and her husband, Michael, have a son.

It’s a privilege to serve here at Heritage Park. It’s an honor to be a part of a family with an all-consuming passion to serve the Lord.
